The Zoo

This is the perfect time for the Zoo - the kids don't get hot, there are no crowds and all the animals are out and super active! We just went and loved it!

So, I think I get a little overprotective and dress Collin up a bit over the top! He does look comfortable and warm though - right?!?

Enjoying a train ride with my buddy!

Laughing at each other and the baby giraffe.

Boys and Toys

Is it bad that Caden is totally obsessed with motorcycles?!? He about had a total meltdown today when he thought Curtis was going to go on a ride without him! Curtis takes him on little rides throughout our neighborhood. You can hear Caden yelling "YEAH!" as they are going down the street! He loves his Dad!

Hollywood

Here are some of the pics from the girls week in LA.
I guess I got lonely at Universal Studios without Curtis to keep me company!
This trip was amazing - we had such a blast hanging out and being immature together.
I hadn't been here for years - it was a blast!
No trip with my family would be complete without a trip for Sushi!

Wicked

I just saw Wicked in LA with my mom and sisters and it is amazing! If you ever get a chance, make sure and see this production.
They held an AIDS benefit the night we attended. We bought these aprons as part of the benefit.

My older sister Heather and my younger sister Mandi - all smiles during intermission.
Emerald City - pretty incredible.

Girlfriends

My high school girlfriends and I all meet once a month for our book club which started as a secret code name for a night away without our husbands! I am proud to say that it has evolved to a real book club complete with dinner, a monthly book and a project. This month was our annual green dinner, the book was River Secrets and the project was actually a service project. We made blankets for the Christmas box in SLC and put together a gift basket for a young girl that was just diagnosed with Leukemia. This picture was taken after midnight not looking our best with some of the blankets we made. I feel really lucky to have such amazing friends and am so happy that we have kept in contact over the dare I say almost 11 years since we graduated. Wow - I'm old!

A Nice Break!

Caden spent last week in St. George with his cousin Madi and gave his mother a nice break to get some things done around and out of the house! I forgot how easy it was to only have one child - if I could only turn back time and take advantage more of having only Caden before he was walking! Curtis and I missed him, but I think he had too much fun to miss us at all! He loves his Aunt Mandi, Uncle Dave and cousin Madi! Thank you Mandi and Dave for the nice break!
They celebrated his birthday with a yummy cupcake!
Opening his new favorite toy from cousin Madi - a Buzz Lightyear gun from Disneyland.

More Favorite Photos

This is one of my favorite's of Caden for some reason.
His eyes seem to sparkle to me and I love this grin!
This one always makes me smile - it kind of shows their true natures!
Ok - tell me you didn't laugh at this picture?!?
They always have some kind of inside funny joke going on it seems!

Brothers

This picture is hard to see, but I still love it. This photo was from a couple of weekends ago when we went to St. George with some friends over the weekend. My parents have this wagon down there that Caden loved pulling Collin around in. I am loving watching their brotherly love grow and develop everyday. They are already the best of buddies! I love my boy gang!

My Superhero

I have my own personal superhero. Doesn't he look awesome? He recently discovered Superman (with a little help from his mom). He wears his cape and runs around the house singing the superman theme song. We went to St. George over the weekend to soak in some sunshine and my sister took this picture while he was out back riding around the scooter (which is why he is in his helmet and knee pads!).
